Profile
Rodrigo Rebouças holds a PhD in Computer Science and is an Associate Professor and software engineering researcher in the Department of Exact Sciences at UFPB. He founded and leads both the Applied Software Engineering Lab (AYTY) and the Entrepreneurship Lab (NEST), running industry partnerships aimed at digital transformation and process optimisation. That work draws on artificial intelligence, data analytics, security, infrastructure, cloud and DevOps. Along the way he founded the startups Synapse Tech (IT training), Melon Tech (social networks) and Uaná Tech (IT consulting), and worked as a software architect at Dataprev and as a researcher at HP Labs in the United States. His interests span business process management, empirical software engineering, technical debt management, and the use of board games as educational tools.
Short bio
Rodrigo Rebouças is a professor and researcher at UFPB. He leads AYTY, an applied software engineering lab, where he runs projects in partnership with companies across artificial intelligence, process improvement, software development, data analytics and business intelligence, security, infrastructure, cloud and DevOps.
